It was so frustrating because I was just mashing attack on bosses instead of learning the patterns. The first time I played, I treated the game like a beat em up.
I'm feeling a lot better about this attempt at the game. i do think that if i ever tried i'd get absolutely hosed by bosses, i think speed kills on them would be extremely difficult and would really suck this seems like a fun speedrun game, i think the movement tech is pretty insane but there's some cool stuff in it. I feel like i've just now beaten the tutorial, honestly, and i think if i ever make a new game and start over i'll get through things a lot faster. haven't beaten it yet, just gonna gently caress around for a while and pick up some stuff i missed and figure out where i'm supposed to take some of these things, and then maybe do the DLC? i've started experimenting with some more charms, I really like weaversong/grubsong, it's a very funny combination and I need more notch charms to really take advantage of it but I generally enjoy minion builds like this. Okay so I've played a lot more and I got to HK after a decent amount of time.
